Minimum connection time in Nairobi from Kenya Airways to Ethiopia Airlines
Hi all
My traven agent has proposed a route from Madagascar to Ethiopia with a connection in Nairobi. I have a couple of questions, mainly regarding the time needed between the 2 flights, and would greatly appreciate it if you could kindly help.
1) What is the official and unofficial minimum connection time for 2 international flights in Nairobi? My flight into Nairobi is with Kenya Airways, but the onward flight is with Ethiopia Airlines, there is 1 hour 40 minutes between them (if there is no delay). Will this be enough?
2) I have heard that Kenya Airways might be able to interline my luggages all the way through to Ethiopia at Tana in Madagascar, thus saving me the troubles and time to collect and re-check luggages in Nairobi. I've not had experience in airline being able to check luggage onto another airline's flight, so wonder if this really can be done?
Thanks a lot in advance!
