I agree with burlax - it's not an apples-to-apples comparison.
I fly US because the routes work for me, they treat me well as a CP (especially during IRROPS), and connecting in CLT is a pleasure.
I also fly UA, usually as a companion of a UA 1K with the benefits, and I've been satisfied overall. They've hit some rough patches (much like US a few years ago), but they're trying hard and I will continue to fly with them as my needs dictate.
