I produced a UK passport and when asked for an address said "Yacht x, English Harbour, Antigua", when asked why I was coming to England I said "Touring". ie No Fixed Abode. Walked straight through.
Pre-clearing US Immigration at YYZ on my way to LGA at the beginning of a 24h TP run (LGA-MIA-LAS-JFK) I was asked where I was headed.
"LAS, for one night" was my reply.
The agent thought for a moment, then said "No".
Then a second later a broad grin spread over his face and he continued "No, one night in Vegas is just not enough. It will take you that long to get sober"
