About ten or fifteen years ago I complained about the smell of cigarette smoke coming into my room at the HGI, El Segundo. Wrote it down on the "How was your stay?" paper. When I returned about half a year later, the hotel had transformed into one of the very first 100% smoke free Hilton properties. Just because this HGI had taken seriously every sugestion I made over the years, this is the reason I am staying loyal to the Hilton-brand until today.
