I would like to add that no one as of yet have gone through a renewal procedure for A3 *G and therefore cannot know with certainty what the requirements are. A3 joined *A june 2010, and the first members to renew will only do so mid next year.

Even though there is no specific rules mentioned in the T&C other than to keep the account active (crediting 1 flight /36 month) there may indeed be a procedure or there may be added a procedure in the future.
