This simply isn't true; SecureFlight info is transmited to TSA at 72 hours before flight or when the flight is booked, if within 72 hours of flight. The SecureFlight data is retransmited anytime a change is made to it within 72 hours of the flight.
When you book or enter TT information has no technical bearing on getting expedited screening.
