Row 1 is preferred for me as I do not think a few extra minutes of my life waiting to deboard will kill me, and if it really will kill me it is an emergency exit row

. I do like the extra legroom, it is quieter, I can talk to the FA, cabin service can start there and on the ATR the rear rows are reserved for premium passengers so row 1 can be free.
DH8-300Q, Row 12 C or D, there is a little bit of extra legroom plus views are better.
B1900D, row 3 and hope the prop does not go....I love these little aircraft my favourite in the fleet and I get to see the pilots and out lots of windows.
HKK - CHC on a good weather day with snow in the alps is hard to beat.
Oh Thai-kiwi I always look at the amount of damage on the sacraficial panels at the propline, can be quite damaged.
I did the HKK - CHC trip the other day, just stunning!!! I was moved to seat 6A due to balance reasons
I believe Q300s also operate the route sometimes.
It is definately interesting to see peoples different seat preferences, keep em coming
