Go to Valparaiso while there, an interesting city on the coast. Ride the ascensors up the hill, walk around and check out the art galleries.

Visit some vineyards in northern Chile, or perhaps take the bus over the mountains to Mendoza, AR for the wineries there.

There are great mountains down near Puerto Montt, CL, and you could also take the Lakes Crossing from there to Bariloche, AR, beautiful trip.
