Rut Dog,

Thanks a lot for your suggestion. We are actually going to drive to the mountains and that's why we wanted an SUV with at least AWD (or even 4WD).

Any help on getting the best rate for an SUV?

Specifically:
Chevrolet Captiva YF, YQ FCAR, IFAR (Crossover; 1LT trim is YF, 2LT/LTZ is *Q)

Dodge Journey YF, L FCAR, SFAR (Crossover; 5-passenger 2WD is YF, 7-passenger AWD is L)

Toyota Venza YF FCAR

So you could try booking an F, and then see if you can get one of these. It's not that far fetched, and it's under $700.
