Flew out to JFK last week, G-CIVI, 62K. Aircraft was immaculate, at least on the upper deck. The surrounds of my seat were spotless and a look around the cabin confirmed the same. No tape or bits falling off at all. They'd even cleaned the sooty deposits from the surround of the airvents in the ceiling above the doors.
Came back from JFK on Sunday, again in 62K, and G-CIVZ was similarly spick and span.
Boarded the 11 to SIN last night, chortled when I realised I was on G-CIVZ again but this time sitting in 61J and it was still clean! Did my customary check of running my finger across the top of the divider to see how much dust there was and nada!
Anyone else noticed this, or was I just lucky.
Funny you say this! I was coming back from HKG last week on BA26 and while little parts of the plane seemed to be falling off left right and centre it was immaculately clean. Much better than the flight back from PVG 4 weeks ago and it was a 773.
