Agreed. I always have the saved image for TSA. At the plane, it seems that the app version is easier for the scanner to read than the saved image. Seems that it prefers the smaller image in the app (or email) than the larger saved image. It can still work, but it takes more maneuvering. Of course, even if it doesn't, they just ask for name and seat, so I'm not concerned once I get through security.
