I have, although one was an MBNA issued Virgin Atlantic card and the other was my Gold card. Don't know if that is why I got away with it.

Didn't even realise until reading this that it was limited to one card per person. Still, it made for a nice afternoon in the local pub .

As an aside, I also had the same thing people here have been reporting - went to a local Indian only to find they stopped taking Amex two years ago. Sent Amex a message through the online system and had a £5 credit on my Gold card within 24 hours, fairly impressed with their response if not the map...(again, a nice cheap meal out after 2-4-1 using my Gourmet Society app).
