I have had pretty good experiences with DTW security as well.

The dragons always enforce the Skypriority lane very well and I never have to wait more than a few minutes in the SP lane on the upper level (I have seen long lines on the level where hotel and car shuttles drop you off at since there is no SP lane, but just simply go upstairs, it is a lot faster to spend the extra minute going up the escalator to the level with SP than to wait in the line downstairs).
