Hi there,

Due to a busy and expensive year I am looking to get a Y ticket back home and upgrade to J for xmas as J prices are a bit steep!

I am flexible with my flight dates and airport (LGW or LHR) is there anyway to check what flights have upgrades available before I book?

I am sure I read somewhere that if a reward booking ticket (ticket only purchased with miles) is available in the class and on the flight you are interested in then that means a upgrade is available but I cant seem to find the thread. Does anyone know if this is accurate?

Any other ideas?

I am looking at flying DXB-LON return, ideal dates are 20th Dec - 3rd Jan but I can move them around if needed.
