I hope this isn't the case. It would pretty much end me using Starwood properties. I have been a Plat for 4 years and really enjoy my stays but I will not put up with this or having to do work arounds. Not acceptable.

If this is true (and I am not certain of that yet), I would use Hilton properties in the future. I would consider this to be a deal breaker.
