Another company jet parked next to us
Taxiing to the runway
The captain came on and announced a flight time of 30 minutes.
We were asked to hold longer than expected, an announcement and apology was made, due to air traffic. Soon we were on our way to Pokhara. Take-off was towards Boudhanath city.
View during take-off
After the plane leveled off, the lone FA started the drink service. We were served either Coke, Sprite or Water. Surprisingly, they also distributed a peanut snack.
View of the Annapurna range (too bad it was cloudy)
We flew in between these mountainous range. Soon it was time to land.

Pokhara airport terminal (arrival and departure terminals)

The airport is about 20 mins by car to the famous Lake Pahewa area or 15 mins to the real town center. There were a group of people protesting (hunger protest) outside of the airport against the plan of the government to turn this into an international airport.
We were picked up at the airport by our guide and porter for our trekking trip.
Overall, I was surprised by the service offered on this short 30 min hop. However as expected for foreigners, you pay a lot more compared to the locals. For this one-way trip, it costs about 100 USD. However I would advise on taking the plane rather the bus ride between Pokhara and Kathmandu to save time. For the 200 km distance, it took more than 7 hours to reach Kathmandu in a semi-comfortable bus.
Hope you enjoyed the report. There are some videos that I recorded which can be found on youtube.
