My 3 daughters and wife understand (but still think I am crazy). My aged parents do not. I am still a bit of a chicken/pussy when it comes to MRs. Wont do them if my wife is with me but will wait until she is back in the UK/Ireland. When I did my SFO MR last month I also got to SFO after midnight and although I had a fast turn around with a fairly early 9.00am flight back out, I still got a room at the airport Hilton. Do not know if at 55 years old I am ready for a very quick turn around to a red-eye.

As has been stated above, they are addictive (or rather it is the status that is) -a bit like crack cocaine (allegedly)
