No airline has great food on European flights, but some have least real food. When I fly midday, it is usually between appointments in two cities, so I need lunch. Or when I return home at night, I like to eat after a long day's work and hit home (or hotel) by 10pm. I had three recent experiences in very-short business class while in Europe:
- LX CDG-ZRH, decent lunch with a good and copious salad with mixed meats, great service (wine from full bottles, constantly checking if I needed anything), nice chocolates.
- BA LHR-CDG and return: nice big hot sandwich, nice hot breakfast; nothing great but real food in a 40 min flight.
- AF CDG-ZRH, basically nothing. Very chatty FAs but hardly anything to eat.
