Just wondering how you are going with your topas carry on.
I just inspected both IATA international and non (wide body) in person.
The IATA model so tiny! I was shocked at how small it appears. Though the real test would be to pack it and see what fits.
The wide body is much larger
But wondering how much hassle I will get with it. Since I do allot of overseas travel.
I check my 32 inch topas
So checking the bag does not worry me do much.
But I prefer to keep my carry on with me. Since I pack allot of items for in flight Comfort. I would not survive the flight with out this stuff.
Son worse case is gate checking bag and removing my inflight items.
It also appears that the next size topas models (non cabin) are too large to carry on. But I swear I see people carry on bags bigger than these.
Side note
Does anyone have any Experience dealing with the airlines over damage to rimowa topas bags?
Would be interested in knowing if you can fight them for damage /Compensation that occurs to bag.
Or, due to the high cost of rimowa topas - do the airlines say too bad.
And how one goes about dealing with such an issue
As I would like to be prepared should the issue arise. I have learned that airlines thrive on customer Ignorance.
Thanks
