I can't recall right now if the Meteor serves breakfast out of Miami, I think that it might but I won't swear to it, but the Star does serve lunch out of Miami. It probably won't start until 12:30 - 1PM and it may be an abbreviated lunch, meaning that not all items may be available. You should also get a short and early dinner coming into NY.

Neither IMHO has anything overwhelming in terms of scenery that makes it stand out over the other.
