Just wondering if there's anybody who's based in Ireland who's knows of a way to apply for British based credit cards whilst in Ireland.

Currently in America for a while but am looking to rack up points seeing as I'll be flying BA quite a bit although not enough to hit gold due to the fares I travel on... Suppose I could always chance one of the American credit cards but don't think it'll work as they're restricted to US opened accounts...
