Interesting. Where did you book the THB 4000 rate?

The room availability calendar on Hilton HHonors web site says the lowest rate in December is THB 4640 and that's the advance purchase non-refundable rate.

I still don't think paying THB 5880 for a room at the GH Bangkok is considered "true craziness". Perhaps it's "crazy" for your own budget.
