easygoing77, please make sure you get in the right line at YVR. One is for Canadian immigration; the other is for connections for international flights. The Canadian immigration line is in the first arrivals hall. I believe you have to go to another hall for connections. There is usually an agent standing in the arrivals hall who can direct you.
