Very odd indeed. And she said I was welcome to write-in to QR about it!

Interesting... maybe she is. There has definitely been much inconsistency between flights with regard to cabin lighting (for example, how much use they make of the mood settings). The best flight was QR2 on the evening A346 flight in 2009 when I first flew with them, the whole crew were superb, it was an almost magical experience compared to other airlines. Sadly, other flights have not quite lived up to that.
