Several complaints to the front desk received a "we're working on it" response but half hearted at best and unresolved at worst. Yes, the stay started promising with a nice upgrade to a harbour view suite, but then it became a mediocre stay at best. I opted for the eco-program and did not have the room serviced and received the card for my 500 SPG points.
At check out I handed the card over and reminded the desk clerk to credit the miles to my account. She looked rather board and her response was "si". I also explained the problems with the wifi and TV, which received another "si" but nothing more. I paid my bill and headed to the airport. A couple of days later my points posted but no eco-bonus. After a few more days with nothing showing, I emailed the hotel. No response, no points. Last week I emailed again, and still no response, no points.
Any suggestions at how I get this property to respond to my request other than shaming them out here?
I usually ask a PC to sort out these kinds of things for me. Seems to work.
Agree with your comments about this property, especially its potential. Although I think the service issues have more to do with PR, than property specific. The staff - at all the PR properties I have frequented - seem to be a less responsive/interested/engaged/whatever than those elsewhere.
