A quick question - I booked Iberia coded flights from BRU to MAD and returning BCN to BRU on the Iberia website and entered my BAEC number to collect Avios and Tier Points.

The BRU-MAD leg was credited as this was Iberia metal but the return was not credited so I asked for a missing credit over the website but BAEC claims it couldn't find my flight details

So I called the super friendly Martina in the BAEC office in Bremen and asked for a credit and she says that it is not possible to claim the missing miles and tier points as I flew on Vueling metal

The BA website says 'It is not possible to claim for missing miles on Vueling Airlines. Please contact your Excecutive Club for more information' which says that you can't claim for missing miles but does not say that miles are not awarded.

I booked on Iberia.com, checked in with Iberia and used the Iberia lounge in Barcelona and Vueling is part owned by Iberia/IAG Group so why don't they credit Avios and Tier Points

Or at least say very clearly that Avios and tier points are not given on any Vueling flights when booking

Or did I miss something
