Interesting - I have six nights booked at the HI in Vilano Beach FL (first two paid because rate is much lower those nights, next four with points).

If I booked a paid stay for six nights the BAR for a standard room for the first two nights (midweek) is $99/night, next four nights is $169/night.

But booking the first two nights as a standalone is $119/night. The next four nights booked separately would be $179/night.

So in effect the hotel is offering a discount of $80 for booking six nights.
