Frequent fliers try to adjust, knowing that following a routine makes navigating airports quicker and less stressful.
Okay, Im calling BS on this, and Ill include myself...How much time do we think we save "knowing the procedure" as opposed to adapting to each change as security has evolved...?? Ill offer an estimate ....zero.

If Im honest with myself, the annoyance is mostly my ego getting in the way....when a new reg comes up, the stress is more that I look like a kettle instead of a FF.....

My home airport was one of the last domestics where you had to carry your BP through the machine (either WTMD or MMS) and show to the TSA right after the machine. They stopped doing it this year - but force of habit for me is to still carry it with me. This costs zero time, but I feel the rush of kettle shame nonetheless

This is a concocted issue. I'll welcome rebuttal in the form of which procedure changed which cost a FF more than 30 seconds to understand and comply on your subsequent trip.
