I didn't thankfully have to hear the rest of the conversation as the queues had two people in each, so security wait times were minimal.
And of course, I would have asked them how many planes were falling out of the sky in Europe due to such lax security. Clearly if air travel were unsafe there, planes would be falling out of the sky regularly.
