Data Point - TL

After 30 minutes on hold with TL, I was told that IB canceled the ticket because on the day I booked I should have paid $15,xxx USD. I referenced the DOT regulations relating to repricing and mistakes, the month delay, and my understanding that this was not a mistake because I paid the full fare amount in the local currency of the originating airport. CSR put me back on hold for 15 minutes to discuss currencies with the airline, but the agent was rejected again.

I was first told that the supervisory team will call me back in 48 hours. When I objected and asked to wait on hold, I was offered to be placed on the 24 hour call back list. I asked the CSR about the difference and was told that there are 3 lists of callback urgency, 24 hours, 48 hours, and 72 hours.

I guess I now have callback elite status... ...

Anyway, I am not holding my breath. Next data point update ETA 24 hours.

I both called and emailed TL about this yesterday. On the phone they stated that I needed to call back between 9am and 5pm on a weekday, and there has been no email response.

I have not called today, yet.

Edit:
I just checked Amadeus for the first time since the calcallation and it still shows my LHR-US ib/ba leg, though TL and the airlines do not show it.
