That daily amount seems high to me.

On my way from the DFW airport to Plano I used $3.45 worth of tolls. Avis charged an extra $2.95 a day for every day of my rental, even though I only had tolls on one day. Total to Avis $12.30 for a 3 day rental.

Since I have an active toll tag in Texas, I edited my account in their database to have my rental car's tag on my account, and that was billed for the $2.75 in tolls on my return to the airport. (Don't forget to change it back later, or else you'll be paying for renters after you turn the car back in)
