Understood. What do those people want that they don't get now? If its upgrades they will be in a higher tier than a mile runner in G, its not hurting them. Some routes are more expensive (flying out of Carlsbad versus San Diego), that's how supply/demand works. If you fly on WN, there are many different fares and only higher points for the more expensive fares (no upgrades). You get the same thing on UA if you purchase F, A, J, C, D, Z, Y, or B fares (with higher/guaranteed upgrade priority).
