This brings up a question that's been weighing on my mind. What spending counts as "not shabby" at the midtier levels? I fly a lot of mid-hauls (HNL-mainland) and few long-hauls (HNL-Europe/SA) each. I think I'll make 1K this year, and my spend will be somewhere north of $10k. (Maybe 12, I don't think 15.) Does UA care about that? Should UA care about that?

If all the airlines are moving to a revenue-based system, then I'd like to know where I should set my expectations. Will an average of ~12cpm be enough to get me the same level of benefits?
