Being a tall guy, I like the overhead bin placement, as I can stand up and not bonk my head. I thought the bins were supposed to be configured so that luggage can be placed on its side (but wheels first) to fit 4 or more items. Or was this what the 787 will offer ?

Back on topic, I think they used 'memory' foam on the seat cushions, because I experienced the same hard/flattened seat too. The sears are also higher, which makes it hard to see out of the window. I do like the overall spacious feel of the interior.
