I am quite sure there are numerous cases where the person causing trouble is offloaded ... now of course some judgement has to be applied early on and that is not easy ... especially for a Business passenger. A while ago we had 2-3 hours delay at JFK ... to offload someone who was making a big mess ... a/c already had left the gate when the decision was taken.
