I have never found a hotel alarm clock that I couldn't figure out in 60 seconds or less and either use the alarm or turn it off. And if the light is too bright, I usually find the dimmer.
That has been my experience too.

When I have had to charge my cellphone, camera battery and the laptop while I sleep with my CPAP, there have been a few instances when I felt that there weren't enough outlets. I have sometimes unplugged a desk lamp to plug in my laptop or even my CPAP.

^ Especially if the bed has to be moved to plug it in. Materially changing configuration of a room is not goo.
