I could swear I knew the answer to this but I can't find it anywhere on the marriott.com web site and I've done a search here to no avail.

I'm a Gold member who spends about 200+ nights a year on the road. I'm looking at local fitness centers to join in my new home of Seattle but the costs are pretty high for a guy who's never home.

I thought I recalled an Elite Member benefit that allows Gold/Plat members to use the fitness centers at Marriott hotels even when not staying as a guest. Am I crazy or is there such a benefit?

If there is such a benefit, would you feel funny about using a local Courtyard or FI a couple of times a month even though you weren't a guest?

Don't want to be a cheapskate but I hate to pay $50 a month to use a treadmill twice a month.
