Lately I have taken about a dozen domestic flights that were "operated by the old CO". To my surprise I saw them clean the toilets in the 737 frequently. Even pointed it out to Mrs. EX, we were quite surprised. To make sure, we saw the FC toilet only.
True on Asian carriers, there is sort of a designated toilet cleaner, I assume the lowest member on the totem pole.
