A few recommendations from my weekend in Stockholm

Just got back from Stockholm. Will add a link for a full trip report once I write it, but wanted to provide a few quick thoughts/recommendations:

1) stayed at the Grand Hotel. Location is good, but hotel feels a little tired but a room in the main part of the hotel might be better.
2) the spa at the Grand Hotel is great.
3) Vasa museum is worth a stop as is Druttingham Palace
4) many of the sites are closed
5) ate at Den Gyldene Freden - the oldest restaurant in Stockholm. More hype than deserved.
6) the National Museum is nice and can be done in a couple of hours. It is open late on Tuesday nights
7) my favorite restaurant was Mårten Trotzig in the old town
8) also ate at Sturehof which was nice.
