Checked in last night at La Concha, pretty disappointing as far service is concerned for Plats. Nothing special, room upgrade was actually to a city view so I wonder what the real room would have been. Nothing special for Plats either as compared to SPG. I'm definitely switching to SPG since their resorts provide a better service to Plats.
With regards to La Cincha, very busy place. Lounge open on Fri evenings. Expensive bar and restaurant (expensive city in general). Staying in the new tower and its very clean and new but beds are not comfortable. I probably would go for something with a view. If you're staying on the beach, might as well be able to see it from your room...
