The LH agents wouldn't know the mileage earnings of AC or LH flights in Aeroplan, s/he can potentially look up the earnings in LH Miles & More but these are more than likely different to Aeroplan.

If you have a print-out of the Aeroplan website for AC and LH, you could show that the booking class you were booked in on AC would have earned 100% miles and ask the agent to be booked in a LH booking class that also earns 100%.
