I'm not looking for special treatment, I'm just looking for basic service! The inability for them to post miles for flights on their own airline when I've shown the card and my M&S number is on the boarding pass was bad enough, but now this outright cancellation of memberships (without any notice to members or apparently any briefing to front-line staff) is incredible.
I got a match from BA Gold, but do travel to Istanbul several times a year, and changed company travel policies mean I will be travelling * airlines more frequently. I would probably have switched my Istanbul travel from BA to TK. But given the grief I've had in the first few months of membership I have to wonder if it's really worth it.
