Definitely contact the manager on-site to ask about this. If you can stay for a month, they can give you a lower rate tax-free. Depending on whether you really need the weekends, or not, this deal might not be best.

One other thing you can try asking for is if there is a corporate rate perhaps with the company you are working with there (assuming this is a business trip). I actually did just that this week where my price was reduced from $179 to $129 per night due to the discount provided by the client I work for.

Not sure if I'm using the term "corporate rate" correctly here but I double checked and have emails from the manager confirming that I will earn points and stay credit at that rate. The manager will be manually keying in my reservations at the special rate.
