So for two reasons, you should do Calgary and Vancouver first, since 1) you will hardly be jetlagged at all there, and 2) the jet lag going from the west coast of North America to Asia is easier to adjust to than going from Asia to the west coast of North America. This will eliminate jet lag at the 1st two stops and minimize it at the 3rd. If you do it in reverse, it will maximize the difficulties at all three locations.
That's what I meant when I said that jet lag does not hit every one the same way.
For me, being tired and jetlagged are differrent issues. I like to arrive late after noon or early evening, in which case things are much sooner and jet lag is not an issue even for a trip to/from the other side of the world. If I arrive at a time so that I can go to bed before midnight, it's less of an issue for me. Consequently, when I go to SIN or BKK, I arrive there around midnight or later. By the time you get settled in a hotel, it's around 2:00 a.m. The following day is shot too. Coming from Asia to the U.S. east coast, I arrive in the afternoon or evening so that I can go to bed a decent time.
I see several flights from Seoul that would get you from Seoul to YYR or YVC around late afternoon.
I agree that travelling from Ottawa to Calgary or Vancouver is not likely to be an issue as far as jet lag is concerned. So, it might be better to do Calgary and Vancouver before you get to Seoul.
