Once again we are considering a relo to the UK as ultimately, for various reasons, we must choose either the US or UK. If we went to the UK, offices would be on Edgeware Rd in London. I looked at some websites and it would appear there are a multitude of places to live within our price range that are within 45 minutes rail time to Paddington. I would want to keep the commute time to 45 minutes or less, be within 30-45 minutes from Heathrow by bus, taxi, or shuttle, and live in a safe area with a decent quality of life. I thought maybe Reading would fit the bill, but after researching it sounds like that is one tough commute. Any other areas we might want to look at? I definitely would want to avoid having one of those 1.5 hour commutes that I hear so many horror stories about but I also don't think we would want to live anywhere near London proper. Just trying to get some ideas for planning purposes so we can compare US/UK. Thanks
