Will the SQ check in at DPS be able to check our bags all the way through to IAD, or will we have to claim and recheck at LHR. This would be desirable as we can go into London for the day and overnight stay with only carry-on.
If its on one ticket, then no problem. But if its on 2 seperate tickets, then SQ will not be able to thru check bags in transit in London. This is based on the law for bags in transit overnight at LHR. Airlines have no control or say in the mattter.
