Was a flight MIA-ORD, a lady walked in with 7 store bags, along with her purse. It took me by surprise as I was jsut actually questioned by the GA as I was boarding to size up my bag. I made a comment out loud to the matter, which the FA and passenger heard, prompting the FA to question the passenger. She ended up combining some of the bags, and had to gate check the others, while also giving me the eye.
