I have been flying the SFO-IAH route nearly every week for the past 6 years.
1) So as stated in the previous post, FC and 1K are grouped together into group 1 and and are boarded after Uniformed Military and GS. They have just recently in the past 2-3 weeks replaced the signs on the priority line, with just Global Services/Pemier.
2) It may be a hit or miss but I would say that over 90% of the time, the FA starts at the front and work their way back in FC for meal choice. I normally pick the first row, or the last row.
3) Never considered getting a meal vocher on delays when I was able to get out the same day, The two times I was (and the one time by kids were on a milage ticketes), we all were offered a free hotel and free meal vocher, when the next available flight out was the next day.
4) I may be missing something, But besides greeting you when you board, and taking your coat when you are situated, did the FC FA do something special for the FC passenages during the boarding process? I do see them re-arrange the luggages so that other may get their luggage in the overhead.
5) I mainly see all the FA trying to get all the passengers on board and their luggage put away so we can make an on time departure.
