In response to your question, since 3/3 the new boarding procedure, FC is part of Group 1. There is not a unique announcement for First Class. I can't really answer your question on BP, because I don't pay close enough attention.

As to your questions about meal service, my experience has always been that it's designated purely by where you sit. However, other posters have had other experiences. I don't know if there is a formal policy on this.
