I'm wrestling with this issue as well - my wife and I will have just one manageable suitcase so luggage is not a problem on the Roissybus. So it would be €20 for the two of us on the bus vs. ~€70 for the taxi; quite a difference for the convenience of the cab.
We took a van/shuttle type thing (shared) which was not an issue coming in,and we took the Roissybus going back. We had a couple of suitcases and a baby but managed just fine. I do think it may be better to take the bus back, because that way you have a sense of the area. But if you are minimally competent with a map you will find your way from the bus to PHV without a problem.
